Marcel P. Black will be put ON BLAST 3/10/11 8pm PST/11pm EST

From the pulpits and street corners of Ardmore, OK comes Bryan Marcel Williams I aka Marcel P. Black (the emcee).
Once a member of a underground hip hop collective, Black ventured out into solo territories and has been on a steady mission
to revolutionize the way you think of, listen to and view hip hop music. Though inspired by multiple musical genres and great emcees, Black's greatest influence as a hip hop artist can be found within himself. An ever evolving entity, Marcel P. Black at one time or another has been a misguided soul influenced by gang culture, an athlete, a band geek, a militant and a mentor but at all times has been authentically a man, authentically him.
From the hole-in-the wall Oklahoma nightclubs to the posh, upscale martini bars of Southern Louisiana emerges Bryan Marcel Williams I as DJ Hard Work. DJ Hard Work evolved out of necessity. Bryan Marcel Williams was tired of spending hard-earned money to go out partying just to hear the same thing in the club that is constantly on the radio. DJ Hard Work evolved because someone had to be the voice (or the hands) of the hip hop lovers, the remix heads, the B-side people, those who value the quality of music over the status, affluence or wealth of the artists making it. DJ Hard Work is a connoisseur, listener and student of good music, particularly good hip hop music and it is for this reason he is quickly becoming a favorable name in the Baton Rouge community.

Marcel P. Black is DJ Hard Work
DJ Hard Work is Marcel P. Black
Marcel P. Black & DJ Hard Work are Bryan Marcel Williams I...

Confused? Don't be... listen behind the music and he will explain himself loud and clear...

Levells will be PUT ON BLAST 1/31/11 at 6pm EST

LevelLs was raised in Brooklyn, New York. He developed his passion for music early in life and he knew that it was going to be a priority, not an option. He decided to continue the tradition of music through the generations in his family. Always playing music as a youth, He took a strong love to the drums and piano. His first production was at 9 yrs old on the first piece of equipment that he recalls producing on, a DX-7 synthesizer and a Yamaha drum machine. LevelLs was always known for music in high school. In those years, He was a part of a 4-piece band called I.D.E.A. where he played the drums and they would play for local events.

LevelLs went on to study Music Engineering in college and left early to focus on his music career. He started working with other musicians in the New York tri-state as well as other states to expand his market for music production. He evolved relentlessly and pushed forward to create a style of music that is influenced by 80’s Pop, Classical to Hip-Hop and combining them into new sounds. His music influences are broad and very vast, even drawing inspiration from some of his favorite comedians such as, Chris Rock and Bernie Mac. "A good comedian always has good relevance to life, and that is what I put in my music.

"LevelLs is currently branding his own independent venture. He is currently working on his debut album, “The Resume” due out spring 2011. His debut single, “Hip-Hop” already has a good buzz through the internet which is his ode for the love of the culture. With his smooth, slick wordplay, he's bringing a reminisce back of Hip-Hop’s 90's Golden Era with a current style that will continue the tradition of Hip-Hop for years to come.

"I’m just a dude that loves Hip-Hop” –LevelLs
