Nas and Kelis Divorced!
Vibe just broke the news:
After dating for two years, the pair married in a small ceremony in Atlanta on July 28, 2003. Their relationship even sparked artistic collaborations, with Nas appearing on Kelis’ sensual single "In Public," featured on her 2003 release Tasty (Star Trak/Arista). Kelis returned the favor on the Queensbridge, N.Y., MC’s controversial 2006 work Hip Hop Is Dead (Def Jam) on “Not Going Back.” Yet, since March of 2008, rumors of the couple separating have been circulating on the Web. Nas’ spokesperson could not be reached for comment.

On Blast : R.O.M.E.
In 2003 R.O.M.E. founded the label Dynasty Enterprise Music Group with his business partner and manager Junior Houser. He has released 6 successful mixtapes including his Dynasty Enterprise Underground Mixtape series and flooded over 70,000 through the streets and internet. In the summer of 2006 he appeared on the Underground Talent Mart (UTM) TV Show in Atlanta to debut his song "We Don't Dance" to 19 markets including New York, St. Louis, Birmingham, and Hawaii. The performance led to several club dates and performing for the likes of Grand Hustle, Juvenile, Da Brat, and producer Shondrae to name a few.
In the early winter of 2006, the debut from the DEMG label titled R.O.M.E. & DY Enterprise Presents "We Takin' Over" was nearly completed and slated for a March release. With collaborations from Bigg D of Da Original Too Deep and stellar production from SSC Productions, over 40 tracks were recorded for a 17 slot album. The remaining material, exclusive freestyles, and remixes were released January 27 with the South's 1 DJ, DJ Smallz "Mr. Southern Smoke". The DJ Smallz & R.O.M.E. Before The Takeover mixtape contained the singles "What It Is" and "I'm Tha Man" off the upcoming album and received a 3.5/5 review in the June issue of Ozone Magazine.
With cosigns from several key industry players, R.O.M.E. was hand picked by DJ Smallz and others to lead the movement for the new generation of southern artists to stabilize Hip Hop's growing southern genre. With future appearances on Fear Factor mixtapes, an undeniable flow, compelling passion, and razor sharp lyrics, R.O.M.E. is poised as the next best thing from the South.

Hip Hop Shop On Blast! Feature: Mis.Led!
Mis.Led!, AKA Dawn Maldonado, is a hard working, single mother originally from in Harlem N.Y.C, but has been a resident of Southern Cali since a teen. Constantly traveling back & forth, she’s had a bi-coastal up bringing that exposed her to the best of both worlds. Growing up, Mis.Led! was always surrounded with creative arts & music. At a very young age Mis.Led! began to write poetry, which in time evolved into song lyrics. Mis.Led! was very much influenced by classic hip hop, & credits that as her foundation & inspiration to become a rapper. Mis.Led! adapted her moniker, as her youthful & innocent appearance often misled those who doubted her superior skills as an Emcee. Creative expression has always been Mis.Led!’s passion, & is reflected in her music, which can be found on various soundtracks, mix tapes & compilations. Mis.Led! recently released her debut mix tape, “Revenge of the Doorknockers” hosted by DJ JiJi Sweet; the title being a throwback to her hip hop roots, which can be found at www.myspace.com/itsmisled. Today Mis.Led! is still pushing toward her dream & she is taking all the right steps. She’s in continuous rotation on SwurvRadio.com & is also receiving air play on Music Choice TV & Sirius Satellite Radio. She performs live from coast to coast & has also traveled with the P.A.C.E. program, to various schools to promote academics through creative expression. She now has an international digital downloading deal through XL Productions, of No Limit fame, and has dropped her first official single, “Hateful Girls”, which can be found on iTunes, Rhapsody, LaLa.Com, etc. Mis.Led! also landed an album deal with indie label Get It Done Records and will be releasing her first full length LP in early 2010.
The West's Best Kept Secrets
She is now a member of the esteemed all female emcee collective, The (Sis)Tem and can be heard on their new mixtape , “The (Sis)tem-Addict Takeover II. Visit The (Sis)tem team at www.myspace.com/thesistemishot. Most recently, Mis.Led! started sharing her life via her blog, www.iammisled.blogspot.com. For any & all information on Mis.Led!, please visit www.myspace.com/itsmisled.

I'm definitely a fan of Mis.Led! I heard her perform at a spot out here in L.A. called the Grasshopper and when I say she commanded attention... i mean she had the entire room wit eyes on her as she hopped on the stage and was committin a mass murder with the mic. Definitely cop the music on itunes and stay on the look out for this young talented emcee!
