A revolutionary music artist and entrepreneur, C.KHiD is focused on releasing 6 albums as part of his ‘Black Box Dreams’ music series by the end of the Hip Hop 2011 year's cycle. C.KHiD, founder of the "CKHID" organization, has dual meaning for his name. Not only an artist name it is his digital age entertainment group brand name. Once stabilized himself, C.KHiD will introduce new music, comedy, and poetry talents as part of his entertainment group. Utilizing the blueprint which he built himself a career with, he will use live shows in addition to digital entertainment publications to broaden the horizon of listeners each act appeals to.

Dawn Gun will be put ON BLAST 7/14/11 8pm PST/11pm EST

Dawn Gun, AKA Dawn Maldonado, is a hard working, single mother originally from Harlem N.Y.C, but has been a resident of Southern Cali since a teen. Constantly traveling back & forth, she’s had a bi-coastal up bringing that exposed her to the best of both worlds. Growing up, Dawn Gun was always surrounded with creative arts & music. At a very young age Dawn began to write poetry, which in time took the form of song lyrics. Dawn was very much influenced by classic hip hop, & credits it as her foundation & inspiration to become a rapper. Dawn actually began rhyming & recording under the moniker Mis.Led! & can be found on various projects credited as such. Her then stage name was very befitting as her youthful & innocent appearance often misled those who doubted her superior skills as an Emcee. She has since moved forward as Dawn Gun, as her style has evolved & matured quite a bit from her days as a fresh-faced MC to a gritty & well-versed self-proclaimed Str8 Shooter.

Creative expression has always been Dawn Gun’s passion, & is reflected in her music, which can be found on various soundtracks, mix tapes & compilations. In 2007, Dawn Gun, as Mis.Led!, released her debut mix tape, “Revenge of the Doorknockers” hosted by DJ JiJi Sweet; the title being a throwback to her hip hop roots, which can be downloaded at www.datpiff.com.

Today Dawn Gun is still pushing toward her dream & she is taking all the right steps. She has been in rotation on SwurvRadio.com, Music Choice TV & Sirius Satellite Radio. She performs live from coast to coast & has also traveled with the P.A.C.E. program, to various schools to promote academics through creative expression.

Dawn Gun now has an international digital downloading deal through XL Productions, of No Limit fame, & has dropped the official singles, “Hateful Girls”, “Everywhere”, “Untouchable” & “Typical”, which can be found via digital downloading stores (i.e. iTunes), internationally.

Dawn Gun also inked an album deal with indie label Get It Done Records & will be releasing her first full length LP in 2010.

She is also a member of the esteemed all female collective, The (Sis)Tem (of Project Blowed) & can be heard on their mixtape , “The (Sis)tem-Addict Takeover II”. Visit The (Sis)tem team at www.myspace.com/thesistemishot.

Phia La'mour Will Be Put On Blast 7/7/2011

“I’m not a female rapper. I am a female that can rap.”
Her name is Phia La’Mour. Some call her the Rap Raiderette, being from The Bay where the NFL Raiders football team is known for their tough play – just like Phia. Those who are close to her call her LaCooKoo, a term of endearment her father would say to her any time she would perform as a child.
"My father was my biggest supporter. When he died in 2003, I stopped doing music all together." It was not until 2008 when Phia La’Mour started to write again. The five year break allowed Phia to revive her love of music and begin to write about what was important to her. Unlike many female rappers and artists, Phia La’Mour creatively composes her work to reach both men and women. She writes her music based off of real life experiences; not just sex appeal and money.
To get back into the music industry, Phia created a MySpace account with the goal of getting her music heard and the opportunity to network and collaborate with artists. “I think without online networking, no one would even know me,” Phia explains. Through her drive and passion for making herself known, she did not stop at MySpace. She created a Twitter account (@phialamour). Her Twitter account not only allowed her to post music and speak with her followers, which she still does today; but it is where she met her manager/producer, JK (@TheBeatStillJK and @bayboymusic). “At first he sent me some beats and we started working. Now he is my manager,” Phia states. Social networking has also allowed Phia to build brand and has motivated her to build her catalog.
Phia has been seen on stages across the United States in 2011 and has no desire to slow down - - releasing her mixed tape in Fall 2011. Recent shows in California, Florida and Alabama are creating a large hype (See below for show detail). Her talent in her music and her performances on stage has drawn fans from all over the world. “I want to be known as someone who can ‘put the west on’ in my music and in features in the music of others.” Phia Lamour says about her work and collaborations with artist worldwide.
The diverse music of Phia La’Mour ranges from club songs like “Play Dat LaCooKoo” and "Go Go Gadget" featuring Bay Area favorites The HoodStarz, Willie Joe, Mistah Fab, and Philthy Rich; to the more heartfelt tracks such as “Around The World” featuring International Grammy award winning artist U$O of Demark. The diversity in her music attracts a large audience. An audience that is always on their toes, not knowing what she will create next – but knowing it will be an exclusive hit.
------------------- Phia La’Mour was born on December 10, 1984 in East Palo Alto, California where she lived until the seventh grade. It was not until after moving to Vallejo, California where she started singing in the school choir. This is when she found a love for music and writing poetry. The love of singing, music and writing quickly led her to a passion of rap and hip-hop. She was the performer in the family, always singing and rapping at family gatherings, talent shows and on cruise ships. It is easy to say, her childhood has helped form Phia to what she is today, “not just a female rapper.”

J Martyr will be PUT ON BLAST 6/27/11

In 1985 J Martyr was born and raised in Sturgis Kentucky. At age 16 he recorded his first song but never made it public. After high school J Martyr decided to attend Western Kentucky University to obtain a bachelors in psychology, sociology, and a minor in criminology. While there, he got into a graduate school sociology program and attended for one semester. He then dropped out of graduate school to pursue his dream to be one of the greatest artists ever and to obtain a Grammy.
There is no one in the game that is even remotely close to J Martyr’s style. But if one had to sum his style up then they would say he has the flow of Lil’ Wayne, the catchy style of Gucci Mane, the adlibs of Young Jeezy, the swagger of Juelz Santana, then sprinkle thousands of Lupe Fiascos on top of this incredible masterpiece. J Martyr will reach the masses with his music, he has the ability to reach very young children and older adults, he can attract a wide ranged audience. What separates J Martyr from other rappers is his unique flow and wordplay, he is very melodic and can be understood by anyone, this makes him very marketable. Also, J Martyr has a very funny personality and that can be heard throughout his music, all the fun he is having and his love for music can be witnessed in his work.
J Martyr has an incredible work ethic, he works very hard and gives his all. He has a great ability to create catchy hooks and bars which will capture listeners. He is ahead of his time and has a great understanding of the world, which is a result of his education. Another skill J Martyr possesses is his understanding of what it takes to make good music and good songs, the way he has analyzed music of every genre and used it to make his music better can also been seen.
Currently J Martyr is performing in college venues in Kentucky, making a name for himself in Tennessee, Cincinnati, and expanding in Jacksonville Florida & eventually nationwide & internationally. With major digital distribution with industry giant THE ORCHARD, CKE/UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP, & promotion by premier marketing firm INDIEPOWER.com , J.MARTYR is on his way!
